Yes. Chiropractic adjustments delivered by a licensed chiropractor have an excellent safety record — the most common side effect is mild, short-lived soreness similar to the day after a workout. We screen every new patient for red flags before any hands-on care.
How often will I need to come in?
It depends on what we find. Acute pain often improves in 2–4 visits; structural issues, posture problems, or longstanding restrictions usually need a short corrective phase (typically 6–12 visits) followed by a maintenance cadence you choose.
Will my insurance cover chiropractic care?
Most major plans include some chiropractic coverage. We verify your benefits before your first adjustment so there are no surprises, and we offer transparent cash-pay rates for anyone whose plan doesn't cover us.
What happens at my first visit?
About 45 minutes total: a focused history, a movement and orthopedic exam, posture assessment, and (when indicated) imaging. If you're a fit for care, your first adjustment usually happens the same visit so you leave with momentum, not just a plan.
Do you "crack" necks?
We do hands-on cervical adjustments when they're appropriate, and we also offer low-force / instrument-assisted alternatives (like Activator) for patients who prefer no audible cavitation. You'll never get a technique you didn't consent to.
Is chiropractic safe for kids, seniors, and during pregnancy?
Yes — with the right technique. We modify pressure, position, and method for pregnant patients, older adults with osteoporosis concerns, and pediatric patients. Tell us about your situation and we'll tailor the visit.
