Hi. We’re here to help you stop guessing.
If you’ve already tried physical therapy, cortisone shots, anti-inflammatories, or you’ve been told “your only option is surgery” — we get it. Most of our patients walk in feeling that exact frustration.
Here’s the good news: there’s an in-between option that doesn’t just block the pain — it rebuilds the tissue. The hard part isn’t finding regenerative medicine. The hard part is figuring out which one is right for you — A2M, PRP, stem cell, or a combined package. That’s what the next 60 seconds will help with.

How we help — in 4 simple steps

Find the source
On-site thermal scan and digital X-ray show where the joint is actually breaking down. Already have an MRI from another provider? Bring it — we'll incorporate it into your assessment.
Match the therapy
Inflammation? A2M. Damaged cartilage or ligament? Umbilical Cord Allograft (stem cell). Tendon healing? PRP. The diagnosis dictates the injection — not a one-size protocol.
Inject precisely
Ultrasound-guided where indicated. The biologic is delivered exactly to the damaged tissue — not into surrounding fat or muscle. Image-guided placement is the difference between a working injection and a wasted one.
Rebuild over weeks
Your body uses the regenerative signal to rebuild. Most patients feel changes inside 4–12 weeks. We track progress and add supportive therapies (Class IV laser, ozone, soft-tissue release, PEMF) as the rebuild continues.
Conditions regenerative medicine treats
Most patients we see have already tried physical therapy, cortisone shots, oral anti-inflammatories, or have been told "the only option is surgery." Regenerative therapy is the in-between option that actually rebuilds tissue.
Chronic back pain
Disc-related pain, facet joint inflammation, sacroiliac joint dysfunction. PRP and A2M into the targeted disc or facet are common.
Sciatica & radiculopathy
When the nerve is being compressed by inflammation, A2M or ozone into the surrounding tissue can quiet the irritation without surgery.
Herniated & bulging disc
Combined with spinal decompression, regenerative injections support disc rehydration and reduce the inflammatory chain reaction.
Knee osteoarthritis
One of the most-treated joints. A2M targets cartilage-breakdown enzymes; UCA delivers rebuilding signal. Diamond and Platinum packages are designed around the knee protocol.
Rotator cuff & shoulder pain
PRP for partial-thickness tears and tendinopathy. UCA for advanced cartilage involvement. Most patients return to overhead work and golf.
Hip, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow
Smaller-volume PRP plus bio-scaffolding plus targeted laser. Often included in Gold or Platinum packages.
CPRC vs. overseas stem cell tourism
Most patients save 50%+ by getting comparable care right here at home — the same US-sourced biologics, real in-person follow-up, and no flights or surprise bills. Here's the honest, side-by-side comparison.

- Active cancer or recent chemotherapy
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding

A2M (Alpha-2-Macroglobulin)
A2M targets and binds the destructive enzymes that drive cartilage breakdown in osteoarthritis. Best for joints with inflammation and early-to-moderate cartilage loss.
Umbilical Cord Allograft (Stem Cell)
Cord-derived allograft delivers signaling proteins, growth factors, and structural support directly into damaged cartilage, ligament, and tendon. Used when more rebuilding signal is needed.
PRP + Bio Scaffolding
Platelet-Rich Plasma drawn from your own blood, concentrated, and re-injected with bio-scaffolding to accelerate tendon, ligament, and soft-tissue healing.

The questions Lowcountry patients ask us most when they're trying to decide if PRP, A2M, exosome, or stem-cell therapy is right for them.
Is regenerative medicine FDA-approved?
The PRP centrifuges and prep kits we use are FDA 510(k)-cleared medical devices. A2M is concentrated from your own plasma. Umbilical cord tissue allografts (called stem cell therapy here so patients recognize the product) and exosome products are not FDA-approved for orthopedic injection; the FDA has issued public safety notifications about exosomes and warning letters about umbilical cord product marketing. Their application in our clinic is performed under the practice of medicine, and we discuss the regulatory landscape candidly at your consult.
How is your treatment different from clinics in Mexico, Panama, or the Cayman Islands?
Three things: chain of custody, dose transparency, and accountability. Our biologics are sourced from US-based, FDA-registered labs with batch testing you can read. You're not on a plane recovering from a flight, and if something needs follow-up, your provider is 10 minutes from your house, not 1,800 miles away. We'll show you side-by-side cost-and-risk math at the consult.
What does it cost?
Cost depends on what we're actually treating, what biologic dose makes sense, and whether you're combining therapies (e.g. PRP + A2M for a chronic joint). We give every patient a transparent written quote at the consult — no surprise pricing, and we offer payment options so the right protocol doesn't get gated by paperwork.
Am I too old (or too young) for stem cell or PRP therapy?
Age alone almost never disqualifies someone. We've treated patients in their 30s wanting to keep training and patients in their 80s wanting to keep walking grandkids to the park. What matters is your goals, your scan findings, and whether the joint is salvageable — we'll tell you honestly.
How long until I feel results?
PRP responses commonly emerge over 4-6 weeks with continued change over 3-6 months. Umbilical cord allograft and A2M protocols build over 3-9 months. We track patient-reported outcomes at 4, 8, and 12 weeks so we know what is working. Individual results vary.
What conditions respond best?
Patients with knee osteoarthritis, rotator-cuff tendinopathy, tennis or golfer's elbow, ACL/MCL partial tears, plantar fasciitis, hip labral irritation, and mild-to-moderate degenerative disc disease may be candidates. Candidacy is determined case-by-case based on imaging and clinical exam at the consult. If a joint is bone-on-bone with no remaining structure, we say so and refer you out. Individual results vary.
What's the first visit like?
About 45–60 minutes: a focused exam, review of your imaging, a candid conversation about goals, and a written protocol with cost and timeline. You're not pushed into anything that day — you go home with the plan and decide on your own time.
Do you treat knee, hip, and shoulder all the same way?
No. Knee protocols favor injection-grade hyaluronic vehicles plus PRP or A2M; shoulders often need image-guided tendon work; hips usually combine intra-articular biologic with adjacent muscle release. The biologic choice and the delivery technique change with the joint — your protocol won't be a copy of someone else's.
