What’s the difference between just a chiropractic adjustment and what you do?
Most chiropractors only adjust. We adjust AND we have FDA-cleared spinal decompression (Hill-DT), FDA-cleared SoftWave shockwave (OrthoGold), FDA-cleared Class IV laser (Summus), and regenerative injections all under one roof. When the spine, the disc, the soft tissue, and the joint each have their own ideal tool, we use the right one — instead of forcing one technique to fix everything.
Do you take insurance?
We accept HSA, FSA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, and Medicaid for chiropractic and pain-relief services (*rules apply for some services*). Wellness and regenerative services follow different coverage rules. For specific insurance questions, text our main office at 843-225-2550.
How quickly can I get an appointment?

Do I need a referral or imaging before my first visit?
No referral needed. If you have existing imaging (MRI, X-ray, CT) bring it. If you don’t, we have on-site digital X-ray ($50 cash) so we can image and start treatment in the same visit.
What if I’ve already had surgery and I’m still in pain?
Many of our patients come to us after a partial meniscectomy, rotator cuff repair, fusion, or laminectomy still hasn’t resolved their pain. We work around the surgical area with chiropractic, decompression of adjacent levels, soft-tissue work, regenerative injections for residual inflammation, and laser therapy for healing acceleration.
Can I bring my child for chiropractic care?
Yes — pediatric chiropractic is available with Dr. Tharnish. Common reasons families bring kids in: posture, sports injuries, back pain from heavy backpacks, headaches, and developmental concerns. Treatment is gentle and age-appropriate.

What conditions do you NOT treat?
We don’t treat: emergency trauma (call 911), severe fractures (ER first), active cancer in the area being treated, active infection, or conditions outside chiropractic and pain-relief scope. We refer those out and welcome you back when you’re ready for our care.
